As the Clinical Program Director of Neuroscience Services, Connie Parliament assisted St. Joseph Mercy Oakland in becoming the first hospital in Michigan and ninth in the nation to achieve Primary Stroke Center Certification.
Connie Parliament received her Master of Science at University of Detroit Mercy Nursing and obtained Neuroscience specialty training at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Arizona. She is a certified Neuroscience Nurse by the American Board of Neuroscience Nursing. She has published in the Journal of Neuroscience Nursing, Neurosurgery and Hospital Case Management.
