Sandra Narayanan, MD, is a graduate of the six-year Honors Program in Medicine at the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed a neurology residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, a vascular neurology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, and a three-year fellowship in diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology at Emory University Hospital. Dr. Narayanan has authored various chapters and peer-reviewed publications and has presented at national meetings. She frequently gives lectures in vascular and interventional neuroradiology and enjoys teaching residents and fellows.
Dr. Narayanan is a member of the Society for NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS) and Society for Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN). Her interests include cerebral and spinal angiography in adult and pediatric patients, interventional management of acute stroke, endovascular management of intracranial aneurysms, AVMs, and dural arteriovenous fistulas, tumor embolization, intracranial/extracranial stenting, WADA testing, and vertebroplasty.
